Dankie vir die foto Boet.
Dit lyk regtig goed, en ek glo dit maak 'n enorme verskil.
My terminologie laat my in die steek. Die ander, groter en dikker profile tubes wat die vlerk aan die romp verbind, op my Bushbaby is dit ook ronde pyp. Het jy dit met profile tube vervang?
wat gaan dit behels om myne ook so te verander?
Lekker om kundiges om jou te he vir inligting!!!!

No. The Morphman chickened out with those fancy profiled polystyrene foam profiles. He batteled for a while, then gave it up for a bad job. Having gone down the same road, I know why he battled
You have to use Epoxy resin= rather thin and runny, and takes long to cure. Polyester resin dissolves the foam. It takes a LOT of skill and patience to do the fairings this way. I did 4 or 5 aeries this way, then gave it up when a better idea sprang up. WOOD: the old BB`s had wood fairings, but that was not available any more, so I just had to make my own plan. The wood is easier to work with, and make the lift strut tubes a LOT stiffer. Covered with glassfibre, and finished with microballons it is easier to obtain a nice finnish. BUT it is still a LOT of work.
