Under the supervision of an AP ?

Postby Thatchman » Sun Jan 20, 2008 11:53 am

I am not sure if this has been raised before but what exactly does this mean. :?:

If I want to change oil, filters, plugs etc. Just simple routine things, does it mean that under the new regs an AP must be observing all the time or can i do it and he must give it a eyeball after or what?

Does the AP need to stamp my logbook?

For now yes. Amendments are being written and the CAA has seemed to indicate that they will not oppose owner maintenance. So watch this space :D

No problem there - will only affect you if you fly an electric aircraft
