Thank you Morph I'll take you up on your offer if I can't make the one work that I got from Boet. But if possible I would like first option on it for the time being.

I'm not sure if my setup will work, but the fact that the exhaust is only clearing the fire wall and the pull starter with only 2 cm is a bit conserning.

cool by me Bennie, Boet's recomendation will work of course.

BTW I agree with the pull starter. I haven't used one in years. If you really need to, hand prop the thing, quite easy to do.

Morphman, thanx a million for your generous offer. We have moved away from THAT sort of installation to get rid of cooling drag. Spell: DIVE BRAKES. Bennie have everything that he needs to do a very pretty installation. Thanks anyway. :D :D :D :D

Eish.....difficult helping the man. "Bennie, jy moet eers die cowling trail-fit met clecos...." Bennie: "Boet, wat de joos is CLECOS???". SIGH. How to explain??
Benna, your BB looks like a lady wearing HUGELY oversize panties. I will post some "HOW TO`S" on this, so everyone will come away a bit wiser. :D
Remember: It is NOT ONLY how much COOL air you can get in at the top, even more important to get rid of the HOT air underneath. That is why you have to make and fit a VENTURI in the bottom lip of the cowling, so that the forward speed of the a/c will cause suction underneath the cowl, therby sucking even more hot air out. Observe, learn from it.
