quick update on ICASA, Rainbow, CAA etc
Went to visit CAA with paperwork for transfer of ownership yesterday, went smoothly and quickly to my surprise - was expecting something you would recieve at the Dept of home affairs - glad i expected the worst and was pleasantly surprised.
Icasa -- just as surprised, got the email with invoice and details in 5 minutes, made payment and sent proof to them, license being processed ETA 2 weeks
Met Sideslip at Rainbow (thanks Paul for the effort) and booked plane in for next week Tuesday for inspeciton, throttle stick mod, new boot and to have paperwork done for ATF to be issued. Saw a bushcat with hydraulic disc brakes on -- nice piece of kit! Pity my undercarriage needs to be replaced to fit that, ill probably CNC this myself (with the CAA approval first ofcourse) cant afford the undercarriage mods right now.
Thanks Mike -- was nice meeting you, pity Johan is out the country, and the wait is so long, but it has given me chance to start studying, and almost at page 100 on the Jim Davis book.... easy stuff so far.
anyone else also doing their NPL at the moment?
