Groete

Peter

Sorry guys .... but this is a NO NO! Tooooooooo many things that can and will go wrong! This low slow flying heavy with both occupants attention focussed on that other than flying including shotgun shells and other goodies going through the prop and ending up in a blerrie hak en steek bos!

I agree regarding Anatolian dogs and Llamas as well for good measure!

(omtrent so 33 000 mark lammers!)

How unethical, immoral and downright disgusting. It's like shooting from a vehicle, shooting at a waterhole or shooting with a spotlight. I am disgusted at the amount of people in SA that find this to be an acceptable way of "hunting". What happened to tracking an animal on foot and then shooting it. It's all about money and pleasing the well heeled foreign hunter - BOLLOCKS. As for hunting vermin, who was there first. Unless you can prove that you were there first, then you are the very vermin.

Groete.. vhpy
Ek praat jou thaal...

Eish Nkwazi, this topic of talking about agreeing with it or not will get a cat fight going. As farmers see them as a pests and the jackals eat their sheep, goats and baby cows and that takes away from their lively hood to feed their families. I believe its about it being legal or not. I agree that this is very dangerous shooting from a trike and should not be done at all but as an animal lover myself its hard to take stance against a persons livleyhood as it can be turned around and pointed at anyone that eats meat, chicken, mutton etc...LOL Now if this was done as a sport I would be with you but if it is done out of nececity then I have to side with the farmers. just my 2 cents worth

=D* =D*

Well said Sir. Couldn't have done it better myself. As long as it is done out necessity, and not greed, I have no problem with it. (^^) (^^)

Hi Nkwazi,

I just want to know whether you are a "stadsjapie"?? Dont know what the best acronym for that is, If anyone know, please assist??

Have you ever stayed on a farm to make such comments?? Doubt it, as your remarks clearly give the answer away. There is no shame in hunting out of a bakkie, or with spotlights, or from a trike for that matter. I do have an issue with shooting at a water hole though.

The man asked a decent question, no use in "shooting" him. That is immoral. (!!) (!!)

Where do we stop - should we shoot an elephant because he raids a banana plantation on the edge of a National Park, a lion because he takes a very expensive sable antelope where the fences have been dropped. Maybe we should have jackal friendly lamb just as we have dolphin friendly tuna. I love hunting and go hunting every year, but I do it in a sporting fashion. Me, I'll never shoot an elephant (how difficult is it), lion or leopard - thats not hunting, its target shooting, practised by cowards too scared to face their adversary head on.
