I fear for them on that planned trip. Unlike the previous trips they have done they have selected massively long legs that require in excess of 400l of fuel to be lifed at take-off and 24 hours of flying time. I think they are biting off bigger chunks than they can chew. I can't see how you can almost double your designed all up weight in carrying fuel and do that with big enough safety margins. I wish them best of luck but I won't be getting into that cockpit.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

 Stephan, you've aired a point which I did not want to. Some of those stretches are indeed big.

Indeed there are a few stretches there that are interesting, in particular

Walvis Bay to Ascencion Island, 3565km
Seychelles to Lanseria 3780km
USA to Hawaii 3950km

Now at an expected fuel burn of 5gal/h = 19l/h @210km/h that would equate to (as per the planes cruising spec)
Walvis Bay to Ascencion Island, 3565km 17hours 323liters = 230kg fuel
Seychelles to Lanseria 3780km 18hours, 342liters = 242kg
USA to Hawaii 3950km 357liters = 254kg

so this means they are going to have to add a 250liter tank to the plane somewhere.

So lets look at weights

empty 800lbs = 362kg
MAUW = 650kg
useful load = 288kg

fuel 260kg (including the weight of the extra tank)
pilot 90kg
Luggage 30kg
resulting MAUW 742kg?
Pax? (are they going to be doing those long hauls alone?)

Man they do have huge cajones, good luck
