We are talking TRIKES here and i am sure they will look seriously at gyro's as well. If they will do trikes they might just as well do that as well.
Will try the misasa route, but i still need stats. If it is SUCH a "high risk" issue somebody must have those or what?

Hi guys.
Still busy with this. Here is my latest correspondence. Is there anything else a person can add here and investigate? Any ideas will be looked at.

Dink jy dit sal prakties moontlik wees vir elke vlieënier om ‘n “indemnity” vorm deur sy passasier te laat onderteken elke keer as hy ‘n passasier saamneem, vir doeleindes van passasiersaanspreeklikheidsversekering?



Die gevare waarteen verseker moet word, volgens my, is die volgende:



1) Omvattende versekering vir die vliegtuig, ook terwyl in transito op pad.

2) Passasiers Aanspreeklikheid

3) Derdeparty Aanspreeklikheid

4) Opsionele dekking vir los toebehore, wat nie aan die vliegtuig vasgeheg is nie, soos bv. vliegpakke, los instrumente, radios, kameras, ens.

5) Opsionele Persoonlike Ongevalle dekking vir vlieëniers



Kan jy aan enige addisionele dekking dink wat julle kan benodig?

I'll give some of this a try but could be very wrong. Need more opinions for players in the game - like for instance solo wings.

1) Minimum, maksimum en geskatte, gemiddelde markwaarde van ‘n microlight - Between R35k(for a 2nd hand 503 windlass) to around R400K for the latest GT450 with 912s. Average I'd say around R100k

2) Minimum, maksimum en geskatte, gemiddelde markwaarde van ‘n vastevlerk - mmm - this is now going to include LSA I assume - so anything for around R100k(2nd hand thunderbird) to much around R1m (Brand new CTSW or pipistrel with a 912S). Average I'd say around R450k.

3) Minimum, maksimum en geskatte, gemiddelde markwaarde van die res - What is the rest - Gyros?

4) Jou geskatte, gemiddelde kostes vir die herstel van ‘n vliegtuig in elkeen van bogenoemde katagorieë, ná ‘n ongeluk
Weight shift trike - small oppsie like lost direction control and roll it over. R30k. Bigger oopsie - R60k+
CCM - so planes like thunderbird etc - Small oosie - also around R30K - Bigger oopsie probably in excess of R60k
LSA - Small oopsie - like nose over - R125-250K. Bigger oopsie - Probably in excess of R400k.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

I guessed more or less like that too. The rest is like gyro's yes.
