Does any of you currently use a aero carb or has any comments about it?I am considering importing one for my jabi 6.

Hi MICHIEL,

Use google to find out more.

Type into the reasch box 'aerocarb problems'

this is one of manythat came up.
http://mylist.net/archives/corvaircraft ... 02492.html

then repeat with áerocarb satisfaction'
this is one of many that came up.
http://www.matronics.com/digest/zenith- ... -06-10.txt

I would tend to ignore the replies or articles posted by Sonex, because they are the manufacturer of the aerocarb and will probably only sing its praises and not really highlight problem areas.

Do your own research and make up your own mind.

Consider talking to oupaG about the E-Boxi feul injection system.

I have never used an aerocarb so cant give a balanced opinion.

Hope this helps,

Kind regards,

Hi Gunter, thanks for the help, much appreciated.Still none the wiser after spending many hours on net ; poor workmanship seems to be a major issue ,so it depennds on the draw as to what is actually delivered.Have spoken to Oupa recently but he only has BMW on his brain!!!.Might get a complete inlet system with heads from a scrapped motor and will take it to him in due course. Regards, Giel

I am the proud owner of one of them critters. It is a great carb as long as you keep it safely hidden away in a cupboard

The people with one hidden away in a cupboard have many experiences with them, not many good experiences :!:
