Postby skybound® » Fri Jan 23, 2009 9:46 am

...for some.

If you are in the camp I am in - from 1 Feb we will have to pay for a Part 61 and Part 62 licence doubling the annual licence costs.

Any MISASA okes want to request the commish to waiving one of the fees or am I alone in this camp. If so, I will suck it up and kak en betaal.

It is the trike that is the problem. PPL will cover you for the LSA & CCMs - but not trikes.

Hi Rog

The way I understand it, there will be one RPL, which will have endorsements for any of the license you hold, ie weightshift, 3 axis heavy or light, models, parachute etc.

You will not be allowed to fly any of the rpl lic under your ppl, so will have to hold both of those - and pay.

I think things have changed slightly - They are now allowing the LSA's and CCMs according to the okes in the know.
