Wintervogel cross runway 10/26 is now usable and open, at the moment covered with grass cuts from the last cut, best to use west of the crossing with 02/20. I think this one will quickly become a very nice grass strip contrary to 02/20 that remains patchy.

On the way to the field saw three paragliders having fun.
Then off the FK, with Grumpy, to help Rusty out with the “young falcons groupâ€.
Lovely day for the kids, I must say it gives one pleasure taking someone up for the first time...more so for someone who otherwise might never have this sort of opportunity if it were not for the interested few. Well done chaps.
Quote from Rusty:
To all who helped with the Young Falcons day on Saturday, many thanks from myself, Bob Corbett and the rest of the organisers for making it such a huge success. To those who I do not have mail addresses, Gert, Andre, Shaun, Ian and anyone I have left out, thank you also, and if any of you receiving this mail could pass it on, please do.
Fisantekraal was almost as busy as CT International, and because of superb airmanship practiced by all, went off without a hitch.
Bob mentioned another day is being organised at Stellenbosch on March 28th. so watch this space, will be in contact.
Kind regards, and fly safe
Shane Russell.

Great day, albeit a bit bumpy they all seemed to have enjoyed it, even those who got into the trikes..

Well done guys!!!
Re: Wintervogel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Guys,
Thanks once again for Saturday. For some it was the thrill of a lifetime as they had never flown before (and that includes a few of my hard-working Cape Virtual instructors) I was bliisfully unaware that they had never flown before. How is that for generousity - all this time orgainsing for the kids and putting them ahead of themselves in the queue year after year.
So yes, you guys did a fantastic thing on Saturday.
