Can't morningstar get their own frequency as an airfield? That will cover the circuit area.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

AIP Supplemet 2004/09 12 February 2009

The new boudries (sic) for FAD 200

and from an email forwarded to me...
Because Morning Star no longer falls within the limits of the Delta200 airspace, all pilots operating out of this airfield will comply with AIC 21.33 and fly circuits east of the N7 on frequency 124.8MHz. Any traffic departing from Morning Star westbound will broadcast on 125.8MHz

* from 12 February 2009
* regardless of where the East West Line really goes, Morningstar circuits 124.8, leaving to west 125.8
* the D200A northern limit on the Kalbaskraal road is close to the point where the Dieprivier splits (approx 3 miles) north of Philidelphia:
* the D200B northern limit on the Kalbaskraal road is 5m north to Kalbaskraal and just to the south of the railwaystation Abbotsdale

Just to be sure. If I want to land on runway 02 at Morning Star must I fly a right hand circuit on 124.8?

Thanks

All circuits at Morningstar on the eastern side, so yes, a righthand for 02 - see the post of Morph somewhere else - circuits over the N7 would distract traffic.

As far as I can gather, the powers that be, prompted by complaints about low flying over the Blouberg koppie, thought that shifting the D200's southern border north, it will limit traffic over the koppie. This might be true for the helicopters practicing low over the (in)famous Mr C's farm, but now it just means that traffic from Morningstar to Atlantic Beach will be on 125.8 all the way, and will not limit traffic over the koppie?
