Springs to Margate Trip

Postby zu ebl » Sun Dec 21, 2008 9:54 pm

I'm planning a trip from Springs to Margate on Thuesday
23/12/2008,leaving Springs at 6h00.Any advise from
aviators that done this trip before will be appreciated.
Any Gyro's or Microlighters on the same route on Tuesday?
please let me know.
Any info on the runway at Escourt Ultra City, and correct
GPS coordinates for the Ultra City.

Look for Light Flight near Cato Ridge and stop past for the customary break and chat. Give me your ETA and I will meet you there.

Who all will be joining you from Springs?

Thanks wart, from Howick I'm planning to turn South to Donnybrook then Margate,
but during the holiday I'm planning a trip to Bellito, then I'll let you know for a visit,
Cobra thanks for the Gps co-ordinates.
Demon thanks, I will check the runway, it always looks good when I stopped for fuel
and brekkies with the family, and always wish I could land there.

After all the planning, this morning rainy and cloudy weather,no flying,
loaded the Gyro on the trailer and drove down to Margate, at least softness
enjoyed the rainy, cloudy weather.( no driving on her own.)
and at last, some cooler weather currently on the South Coast.

Hi nicow,
Slegte weer, het net eendag so 3 X gevlieg met vriende, het by Wilde Kus
in die rivier vallei opgevlieg, en was spyt my kamera was by die huis, het
