Had a long chat with him yesterday. He was going to have a second look at a house with a view to putting in an offer on it. House warming end of Jan early Feb. Party time!!!!!!!! (^^) (^^)

There is a good chance that Wart and I will drive up for it.

Groete Good people and jammer so I am,

Transition from UK to SA harder than I anticipated. Been a difficult time so it has but we working together and winning the game, despite the battles and disapointments. Gotta be careful now. Seem to be holding klippies most evenings (**) (**) (**)

Okay dokie. It is now Friday or p.o.e.t.s day (Piss off early tomorrow is Saturday heheheheh). Here is an update guys and it was a close thing so it was. Softness and I were in opposite corners squaring up so we were and it was not nice, not nice at all. Repelling borders!!!!! Private Ryan had nothing on us mate ## ## ##

Today we purchased a vehicle so now we have transport. Honda CRV 2ltr, so leftseat. Will be fishing with you soon mfwetu down in KZN with your our mate Wart and anyone else who fancies catching supper. Found a house too. Misses liked it for her reasons I had issues for mine. Compromised we have and the deal will soon be done. I can have my lapa, dart board, bar, fridge for the cool throat ticklers and the pool table. I can also have my games room for the Xbox with wide screen to murder my enemies so I can. Eieesh, the softness drives a hard bargain so she does.

Work needs to be done to our new SA home. A lapa needs building so the warming will be sometime March April May. Jammer that I cannot be more specific, but all are welcome so you are to enjoy our hospitality. Jist bring your own bloody food and booze okay - Just joking heheheheh.

Gotta eat now guys

Congrats on the transport, very nice vehicle particularly if you're planning on travelling a little.

Well done on the house and don't let anyone bully you into supplying everything for the house warming, with the cost of living now it has become the norm to have a ghost party (Bring your own spirits). Keep us posted, I have never been down that side of the world so would be keen on passing by when you have that warming.

Hi Spud and Softness,

Glad you are slowly getting sorted out.

At least you are mobile now and that opens the view of opportunity somewhat.

Just be prepared, when you move in to your new house, for the long "things to do " list that you will be presented with.

Kind regards,

Gunter Rostek.

Hey Oom Spud.

The timeframe sounds perfect cos I think I will have my trike & convex by the house warming time. It is premature cos I do not want to make unfulfilled promises, but my intention is to make a journey of it & a weekend of it. If not, I will drive out there, either bumming a lift with my contribution towards costs or take the neglected 4x4 with 5 spare seats down. Will be in touch.

Baie Dankie for all the comments guys, much appreciated.

Ek is jammer for being so quiet but I will make it up for it as each month goes by, I promise.

Slowly getting there. Reality not what I expected but nothing comes easy does it? Busy tomorrow. Have some decisions to make and act upon and I hope to find the time to do a real update as to our progress in living in South Africa. Normally we would have flown back after our customery three week visit, but here are and here we stay, so we shall.

Wanting to post a thread tomorrow, in the meantime. A double hand shake to you all for helping us in so many different ways to come as far as we have done dankie, dankie, dankie <*> <*> <*>

Alles van die beste and a very Happy Christmas to you fine people (^^) (^^)

Hey Oom en Tannie Aardtappel

Sorry to hear that you and the Missus are disagreeing abit. Although I was a youngster when we emigrated from the UK to SA I remember regular arguments between my Dad and Mum. All I can say is that it will pass, moving Cocuntries is a big deal and very stressful.

Best of luck to you both...and when things get stressful, step back and have a dop!!!
