Fly higher than normal approach when runway to spare. In future when flying to bigger blik aerie runways in ML I will ask for landing on grass between runway and taxiway and be at least 500' over numbers and land deeper but looks like it will be loooooong time b4 that happens
Done about 30hrs since Martha went in and first 10 or so approaches were way too high. Landing 29 at Rand I usually vacate either first T/O or 35/17. On first couple landings thereafter just made second to last T/O (1500m+)...
Not a nice feelin and don't wish it on anybody....
Guess it true what they say. Big fan to keep pilot cool. If it stops man what him sweat....
