Ground Elevation
Which airstrip is the highest in South Africa? I'am looking for 3 or 4 strips over 5000 ft.

Barkly east in the eastern cape is at 5872ft and there is n nother strip that they use when they are on the way to tiffendale skie resort.

Aero 57 5100ft, Microland I think is around 5400ft

The whole of Jo'burg and surroundings' airstrips are over 5 000 ft - region of 5 200 ft.
Pretoria little lower at 4 800 ft average.

Yup lots of fields over 5000' in gauteng. Petit is 5480' Belfast and Bethlehem is at around 6000'
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

Yep ; seen the awesome photos ,Demon and crew landing on top of Sani pass ,they are hanging up in a certain pub in the Drakensberg ,Makes you think !!!
