Can someone tell me if there is any legal microlight operations / schools in Mosambique. Any trikes on the register of Mos CAA?

Nothing official as far as I know. I tried but they could not grasp the concept that a micro is not an instument of war and demanded all sorts af unrealistic setup like the runway had to be registered, 700m long and 30m wide, EIA, desighned by an engineer. Built by a registered contractor etc, etc. The aeroclub offered to let me opperate under their lisence but if you read their law it is not possible. There is no catergory in the lisence system for a MPL. They have been waiting for the microlight law to be signed into law but at that time it was 10 years in the making (waiting). Contact the Aeroclube de Mocambique. Maybe they have changed their tune by now. Oh and everything has to be translated into portuguese. Good luck

Thanks for this info Stefan, It sounds exactly the same as what I've experience in Tanzania with the only difference everything had to be in Swahili
