Solo Wings - Excellent Service

Postby pietmeyer » Thu Nov 06, 2008 11:05 am

I just have to add this post. It is not often these days that we can actually find good service but alas, I found it. On Monday morning while cheking my trike, I noticed that some of my exhaust rubbers were damaged and we have a nice flying weekend planned. Phoned Solo wings with a request "Hi, I need some parts but have no idea what it is called, can you help me?" After explaining, or rather trying to explain that I need some rubber thingy with bolts sticking out at each end, was told, no problem and that it will be send from Durbs to Joburg that same day.

Received my parts early Tuesday morning. the best of all, it is exactly what I needed and the rubber thingies fits perfectly.

Thanks Solo Wings for excellent service.

Support Aviation suppliers where you can if service is good and prices competitive.

I have emailed Solowings before and asked them to send me stuff. e.g. pamphlets etc.
They always reply IMMEDIATLY and I get my pamphlet in a day, if not 2 days!
Cheers

You might find that "thingamajig" elsewhere but nobody could brighten up your day more than Denise and her staff at solowings while still providing an excellent service and competitive prices.

Keep it up and thanx

I have also found, when getting info from Aerotrike, they reply just as quick as Solowings and are VERY helpful!
Keep up the good work guys!

Just has to post this:

I sent my wing up to durban for Aiden to fix a problem while flying. This was after 4 months of trying to fix on my own.

Recieved wing back today. Looked like a new wing. I am itching to get into the air and try my "NEW" baby.

Great service with a smile.

Thanks Aiden and Denise. Working with you is a pleasure.

Glad to hear it Dirk

The hangar doesn't seem the same without your trike there. Eerily empty it is.

Look forward to seeing you in the air soon
