Hu? That why I am asking. I keen to get one, but don't want to have to spend 2 hrs to rig and derig every time. I been flying less since I have to pull the Lance out and put it back twice every time I wanna go play...FAWG Dawg wrote:RV4ker,

When my architect asked me the question about hanger, I told him to use the same dimensions as the three hangers already built at what's landing to match in....forgetting that none of them flew weight shift trikes, although one of them flew a R44 helicopter which just gets in....with my bi-fold motorised doors, the trike was just too high....I did still own a hanger spot at the microlight field nearby, but after it was broken into and all our radio's stolen, I decided to relocate it.....Microwave wrote:Most people, except FAWG, actually measure the required trike height of the roof and hangar doors before they actually have their hangar's built or their doors installed.
I will post some more pics when I get themHi George
I don,t have any plans just built it.It started out A small riding lawn mower.I used the frame and the steering tie rods, front axels and welded it onto A handle so it can steer. The handel removes for A tow handel for A tractor. A straight axel in the rear. Plywood for the top with A hole cut for the wheel with underlinning brackets to hold the bottom of the wheel. U channal aluminum for the trikes control bar.
I will get some pics for you Robert
Hi George,
The platform is 3 feet long by 1 foot wide. The rear wheels are 34 inches apart. And the front wheels are 2 feet apart. As you can see in the photo, the handle and the steering mechanism is made from 1 inch galvinized plumbing pipe.
Let me know if you get the photos ok.
Happy flying,
Robert
