Re: ZU-DVE (and ZS-WUO) Flight Log
I am off for a couple of weeks holiday, the only flying I will be doing is the fish-in-a-tin type, courtesy of SAA. Had a nice flip this morning:

Re: ZU-DVE (and ZS-WUO) Flight Log
Back, from holiday and first chance to fly this morning. Lovely weather at Aurora. After flying this morning, I heard some trikes overhead and drove back to the airfield, where Jan Grotepas landed - they were on their way back from Lamberts Bay, and was stopping over for lunch at Helmut's.
The fynbos is almost taking over the runway - I will ask the town council to trim it a bit this week.

6 October 2008. Latest log put on http://www.zu-dve.com. I was hoping to get close, not too close to the American Canoe in the bay, but the wind kept me at a distance.

Now Alfred E Newman would have already done a touch n' Go there and earned a beer from each of his mates.

Re: ZU-DVE (and ZS-WUO) Flight Log
I was at Aurora the weekend, a bit too windy for a long flip, but had some fun nevertheless. The town council cut the runway for me this week, but the centre is still overgrown. The chaps I took for flips sounded as if they are now personally going to groom the runway...

Gert.
Have not been in the air for almost three weeks now, starting to get the DT’s.
After getting your SMS early Saturday---------made me jealous as well.
To make matters worse- went to the Brazen Head for lunch and some oak in a red GT 450 comes flying past, really putting salt in the wound!!!!!!!!!
Hope to see you this coming weekend.
Graham.
