GET A LIFE!!! how long does it take a trike to traverse the width of a fairway? Try playing at Germiston with aeries taking off or landing every couple of minutes from Rand.

I suggest that we do a mass flight to this backwater on Saturday and cover all 18 fairways.

As I would normally not response and get involved in a p!ssing in the wind contest, I would like to clear up a few facts.

This is not he first time that the red trike, I pressume the same one, has flown level over the golf coarse. He stayed in a particular area for quite a while and was not just " traversing" over the golf course. There are quite a few aircraft that fly over the golf course, at a reasonable high, and the view is appreaciated by us. They are not a disturbance. I remember quite recently a formation of gyro's back to Rhine - great view.

"THE FEAR OF BECOMING A HABITUAL MOANER!!!! " When receiving critism - consider the source.

Using the forum to enlighten the "Sky god" that he needs a bit of airmanship. I could have logged a complain at CAA, but that would be stupid. As I don't know the pilot, I am sure someone that has ead the posting, would inform him.

The post was not intended at pilots overflying the golf course, but pilots remaining over the same F@#$^&*g spot the same time, low levl. It is almost like your neighbour mowing his lawn at 5 o clock in the morning. So McFly , I hope you get the drift.

I do not want to get into a bunfight with the author. I merely wish to state that this forum should not become a vent for ANYONE'S frustrations and I wish it will remain so.
I just do not understand how the reg no; could not be identified if:

1: It was flying so low an altitude as was suggested

2: It remained at that altitude for the prolonged time as suggested

3: It could not be identified as the same "red" trike

The fact that the author could not identify the reg no leads me to believe that, if it was identified, I'll bet my bottom dollar that the CAA would have recieved an Email informing them as such.

My second two cents worth

McFly

Obviously you only read what you want to read.

McFly wrote "I just do not understand how the reg no; could not be identified if:"

The topic started with "to the pilot of OGC" . That means to the pilot who's a/c is registered as ZU - Oscar Golf Charlie.

The pilot was doing low level right hand turns, over the 5 th hole of Cullinan Golf course. By implication the pilot was over the Cullinan town.
Pilot + Pax, and it looked at training bars on the trapesium. The engine sounded like a 582 /503. Pax looked as if she / he was dressed in ordinary clothes and not a flight suit. How much detail do you want? Is the problem in the amount of detail or the fact that the pilot was irretating the sh!t out of the people on the course.

The previous time I couldn't see the reg, although the pilot did some "low flying" circuits over the Cullinan Sport complex, where there was some festival going on.

You further wrote " The fact that the author could not identify the reg no leads me to believe that, if it was identified, I'll bet my bottom dollar that the CAA would have recieved an Email informing them as such." Again the topic was only to inform the sky god that he is busy p!ssing people off on the ground, and not to bust his ass. I believe he has to learn from this and practice good airmanship and good judgement.

I hope you fly beter than you read.

I do not condone low flying from a safety point of view but there really different ways of airing your opinion. Might I add that only a percentage of pilots are on this forum and venting might not even reach the ears of the pilot concerned.
MAK - Is the owner of this aircraft a member of this forum? Above is what I wrote, so pop onto AVDEX and find out who the owner is and sort it out in a more amicable manner - that is what I call portraying GOOD AIRMANSHIP!
