John Young asked "Wonder when I will know 10% of what "da boss" knows?" Demon replied "When he forgets the other 90%."
Demon, your implication is that I only know 1% as much as "da boss".

Mmmm... On second thoughts, you may not be far wrong [especially in "tuff" conditions / situations]!

Thanks to Tailspin, ACE, DarkHelmet, wart, FAWG Pilot & Morpheus for the good luck wishes.

Hah! Made you all look.

Just to tell you that I am at that "brick wall" stage. Lining up nicely, directional control, perfect speed but trying to get the round-out and flare co-ordinated.

Clocking up a couple of hours before work during the week.

I will keep you all posted...

Wart I battled with exactly the same problem, but once you crack it, you wonder what all the fuss was about and why you battled. 8)
Hang in there, things will click into place

;-) Starting the wild panic phase. Today's circuits went well (OK - one bounce, and one balloon, but controlled ;-) ). Instructor says that I have two more sessions, and if landings stay good, then it is solo time... That would be next week Wednesday - and already nervous ;-) .

Whoo-boy - can't imagine how bad the nerves will be next week!!!

justin - just stop thinking about the solo and concentrate on the flying - I know it is hard but you will prevail!

set your mind to "I will go solo at 50 hours" and forgot about the "I gotta perfom to solo next session"

The stress of solo inbound is just going to make you perform worse!

Thanks - once flying it is no problem - just me and the aerie... It's the time sitting on the ground that gets me!
