Unc' Murph ! You ain't gonna like this - but, this is a flying forum, not some MALE PERVE PORN SITE !
Whatever is brewing with you and Leftseat should be limited to PM's or classified SVLNP (age restricted 18). Ha, ha ! Joking.
You asked me about my remark re "African Dawn" ? Dawn refers to an "awakening" or "becoming aware". At the time, I tried to summarize everyone else's posts by using that term. On face South Africans come over as "Braaivleis, sonskyn and Chevrolet" (and Klippies) people. In short we are perceived as people walking around with : "I've got money like SH!T"
Deep down however, your average BAM (Blanke Afrikaner Man)* is an uncertain species, not knowing whether R 100,00 could make or break next month.
* White African Male (WAM)
The logical reply then comes as: "Well, If you battle to make ends meet, why then not stop flying ?". This would be as fatal as asking a scientist to stop spending money on rediculous experiments like re-creating a black hole, or to say to the USA to stop wasting money on putting kiddies cars on Mars.
If it was not for my flying, I would have become a slouch. My flying is an "inspirational relaxation" for my next week at work. And my work is there to finance my search for inspiration. Stop any one of these 2 actions, and the house collapses.
Only once the above 2 actions have become sustainable (for a lot of flyers), comes the next step to help others. Read Mazlov theory.
Lastly, "AFRICAN DAWN". The seasons are changing in SA at the moment. We've seen unsurpassed storms, drought, veld-fires and air pollution this winter. But nothing beats a 05h30 cup of coffee outside at the moment ! Spring is in the air !
Sunset is nice, but it has an ending !
Dawn does not end, it only starts and carries on !
