What a neat little aircraft Sailor. Don't wish to appear rude, but how much would these ladies go for on the market 2nd hand of course or 7th hand considering my budget, yuk yuk

Nice pics, very nice indeed :)

Not rude at all Uncle Spud, she really looks like a grand old lady to me anyway. I am a big fan of old aircraft types
so that is why i bought her. It was love at first sight. :) :) :)

Have a look at www.avcom.co.za. under classifieds. There is a nice 2 seater for sale at R180 000.00.
You might have to register to be able to see the photos but it is free.

So there you go nice low and slow aircraft for you to check out our beautiful South African cenery. :) :)

Hope you get your house sold soon so you can join us.

(^^)

Groet Gents,

Dankie Sailor. Dankie Gunter.

What a lovely little aircraft it is, pity it's beyond me but sweet as a nut all the same. :) :)

I had the oppertunity to fly a Bantam again yesterday before our braai at Rhino and what a great pleasure it was the wind had started blowing and she was a handful but after 12 months the landing was a greaser and that made me feel good man.

Agent, Agent. How I wish I was there. My instructor to be Deon Kraidey said that I would probably prefer Trike to Bantam when I start training to fly, but I don't think so. There is something about the Bantam that really appeals to me and I Doooooooooooooooooooooo Sooooooooooooooooo like Demons Challenger. Have a picture in my workshop, so I do.

If the buyer honours our agreement it wont be long now before I am sat in the seat ready to fly. Yeeeessssssssssss

Be Good

I am flying a "T-BIRD 2" made by Golden Circle, now made by Indyair in USA. Two seater side by side powered by 618, recommended 582 but 74HP is sweet! climbs at 600ft/min here at Komani Zimbabwe. Down at Kariba climbs an awsome 1000ft/min. With wing span of 12m stalls 40mph two up and 32mph one up, no flaps has full lenght ailerons.Consruction tube and fabric looks similar to Thunderbird but with pusher config motor so cockpit same vis as a helio.
There are approx 5000 flying in the States and as far as I know I have the only 1 in Africa.
