Ramblings

Postby Pilot Pete » Wed Jul 30, 2008 8:59 pm

Spend some time after flying jotting down thoughts. Mayby someone will enjoy them and have more if anyone interested. First attempt at literary genius.

Hi Pete, great stories! I'm going to publish your "Hawks over Africa - From the Sea to the Sand" in the Sept edition of AP. Did not had the space in August.

Would love to hear more. Why don’t you visit us at Sandkloof (Malmesbury) and share some of your thoughts ?

Thanks slysi and Ou Man. Would enjoy coming out to Malmsbury. Busy planning a flight from Hermanus to Grobelarsdal for next week or as soon as the weather allows us over the mountains. One more article as requested.

Thanks Andreb. Its almost a pity that we only get to do our first solo once although each and every flight has its moments.

Dankie Pilot Pete,

Enjoyed your stories and I am sure your Father acknowledged you as well. (-)

I think I will keep a diary (Not just a log) of my time in the air when I start the great adventure.

Thank you and do tell more,

Thanks Uncle Spud Murphy. There are so many adventures for those who fly and and even a five minute circuit has its own rewards. Microlighters are an interesting breed as we fly ,not to get from A to B, but because we want to. There is no greater incentive.
