The idea the past weekend was to do a "Bergriver Fly Marathon", flying from Paarl to Elandsbaai following the Bergriver, but got snookered by fog. Once, now we had the wind and rain on our side, the fog put a spoke in our wings to such an extend that the guys got airborne out of Wintervogel only around 10h30 on Saturday, just to find that the north and east headings are still happily covered in a blanket of white. We aborted the river idea and settled for a visit to Altona and Morningstar before returning to Wintervogel in a rather bumpy saddle.

Sunday turned out to be a silky smooth flyday, still contained to our cabbagepatch with fogbanks in the east 8 trikes made their way to Sandkloof for a visit after which some flew to the coast via Darling and Yzerfontein and some others went exploring farmstrips around Mooreesburg returning via Kasteelberg hugging the fogbank.

Have the bergriver kano marathon GPS points of interest (form paarl to veldrif) - if somebody needs them (Garmin)

Did the safety side for couple of years.
