CAA are visiting................

Postby Leprachaun » Sat Jul 26, 2008 12:48 pm

Hi Folks me "contacts" have informed me of the visits to airfields by CAA inspectorate .
Yes its true , Yours trully Called CAA and they confirmed that they are doing courtesy visits to Airfileds "advising " pilots , CFI and all whats needed at your place .
This is a not a surprise , visit/ inspection , but the crux of the matter is please have your authority to fly , pilots licence , and radio licence should you have a panel mount on the plane - a Good suggestion is a certified copy of these documents and who knows you may have the last laugh. (**) Ps ensure that these documents are at least valid / Current ##

What happens if you can't produce license/logbook for EG? I fly many aeries and left my license and log book in one I dropped off in bush last week. Will take 2 weeks to get back as the aerie is now in Delta?

Is it not also required if you have a radio anywhere on the aircraft? Also heard they are checking for the first aid kits too.
