Erdux Epoxy Required - but what and WHERE ?

Postby grobert » Wed Jul 23, 2008 10:06 pm

I have a new a/c (50hrs) which has a crack in the carbon rod connecting the controls to the elevators. The manufacturers in France have said I need use Redux Epoxy to glue the metal fittings into the carbon rod as well as rivet them.

Can anyone suggest exactly what redux I need considering sheer force is the major force?

Where can I purchase a small quantity of this Epoxy (about 10-20ml max needed) in South Africa? The importers are not responding or helping at all. ##

Can anyone suggest a supplier or possibly a user where I can make a fast purchase?

Regards
Rob

3M has a similar product that glues fibre glass to metal and is flexi-able when dry. Will see if I can get hold of the name.
