Kaspaas I cannot confirm all the a/c stories but that Rhino is about to get a serious revamp is very much on the table.
You must remember that the correct revamp will cost milloins so please be patient and watch the reform.

Just to give you an idea: we are currently costing a runway in the Cape of 2 km long and 18 meters wide and the cost to build that is R25 mil.

Not to may guys just jump into the pool boots and all and start grading, remember eveything in aviation takes time.

Hopefully a press release within a month or two. (^^)

Yes, you heard correctly !

The flight schools, Fixed wing, Gyro and Flex wing will combine under the current Fixed wing guys and they are currently doing hire and fly. I attended the meeting where this was decided.

The revamp of the facilities are also happening, the first work on the new hangars have begun, visitors will notice the steel already delivered and earth works starting. Soon it will be the runway's turn vhpy New water and power supplies are also being worked on.

Like Agent said, this is a BIG BUCKS operation !

Fly safe (and visit Rhino soon),

Pleeeeze don't forget about the small fry as well. Rhino must not be priced out of the enthusiast's league. We now have nowhere to go.

I can hanger under the shade netting at the RF, but damn that runway is short. (**)

Yes, I agree with Ldel, please don't chase us small fry away with the pricing. Ldel, we can share a spot under the shade netting.

Remember Ldel, you can start your take off roll from the 4 x 4 water crossing, full power, stick forward, over the bridge, stick back, jump the fence, engage turbo, onto the Radio Control runway, come back slightly on throttle as you wait for the jet plane to enter, line up and take off, stay out of it's wake turbulence, stick back and take off.1 hour circuits = 30 touch and goes.
