Just another day in Paradise!

Postby Gyronaut » Sun Jul 13, 2008 5:30 pm

My trusty Sycamore ZU-EDN took me to the snow today!! 8 500 ft, 2 up, full tanks, no worries!

Do I need to add any words?

Comes a time sometimes when I just cant help myself Dish ! It really was an awesome experience although I did wonder how long we would survive in the snow if we were forced to land there for some reason. Saw absolutely no sign of life up there. Considered whether I might end up eating my wife but realised I do that already without duress.

Strangely enough not as cold as we anticipated. We did fly doors-on and that makes a huge difference if you're not in the wind. I had a jacket and gloves in the cockpit but never felt the need to put them on although my feet did go a little numb toward the end. Wife had a little knee blanket and she was happy (for once  )
I still want to fit an OAT guage still for interest sake.

As for 1,2 or 3... when its always 3 (as in my case) it hardly matters... :|
