Recievers - Vertex VXA 220 / Icom A6

Want to buy a portable reciever.

Stuck between Icom A6 and Vertex VXA 220 Pro 5

(Zulu1 advertises)

Any suggestions?

just check ,the A6 only takes a 11v charge so you need a widget to convert from the aircraft 12v ,when you use the wall charger there is a little thinging in between the charger and the plug ,Multisource (agents ) told me it was never intended as a aircraft radio but only as a hand held .
You can only fly for a hour or so on the radio battery not been charged by the plane with normal local and SR traffic calls

I have the Vertex, and have used Icom a lot. I prefer the Vertex
