Hi there guys
How close do the two EGT gauges have to be on a 503 DCDI engine. WIll the front one maybe read cooler than the rear one? And if so is 10 degrees ok(think it is measured in degrees - still got to study it a bit better). The trike was on the ground warming up when I just had a quick look last night.
Thanks
Karl

Re: EGT readings
Within 25 deg
I would say your Cylinder head temps (CHT) which are cooled by the wind will show a slightly cooler front to back. Your EGT's are measuring the heat of the exhaust gases and are an indication of fuel to air ratio and loading. 10 deg is perfect

Thanks Morph!
Do not think the SKydat shows the CHT's as you said they are aircooled.
