After Muffler

Postby Wargames » Mon Jun 23, 2008 11:40 pm

Is a After Muffler worth flying with?? Is the 2hp loss in power worth the effort to reduce your sound levels??

I have a after muffler on, and is just curious to see some opinions on it. I have heard that a after muffler on a 582 is not necesary as they run a lot smoother and quiter than a 503, but a 2hp loss on 503 is not making me concerned. I'm just curious.

Ranger, glad you're back. How about some pics?? "Of is suinig met dit wat joune is.??"

Take it off, It's a waste of time, and besides we don't have any noise abatement issues

Hi wargames.
Thanks. Must say another two weeks would have been very welcome. As soon as i get Zirk and Mark's photos i'll post the best ones. On the after muffler thingy. Have you ever noticed the difference between a 503 with an after muffler and one without? .......... Thought not. vhpy vhpy

I have noticed a difference. Mine looks better than yours. Thats it. Want to go and fly a curcuit with it. Land take it of, and go for another one, to feel the difference. Will let you know.
