Hi Karl,

Fantastic news bud, Its a really exciting time, enjoy every minuite and do as much as you can with your instructors, the time spent with them is priceless when you eventually go on your own.

This forum is a great place to learn as well, the guys are so helpfull and are always willing to help and encourage - Barring one tit FlyBoy05

A stall within 3 hours ...... ? Way to go Extra.... You do get people that would get a fright but not all! I am sure you are in very capable hands. If your instructor has identified your ability then he will introduce you to them all in good time....

I reflect on my training days when we went spinning in a Cessna 172 - after the initial shock / surprise - I ended up doing plenty thereafter - being able to identify when and in which direction things were happening!

Well done and do the AVCOM ignore thing....

On my intro flight, my instructor to be, did an engine out - cut to idle - at 500 ft AGL, and a dead stick landing. :roll:

One of the things that got me hooked. :lol: Some instructors just know how to grab the attention. :wink:

On MY intro flight we did stalls, spins, engine outs, barrel rolls, loops and even landed on Macdonalds Roof for a quarter pounder... although in fairness it was Flight Sim,... KIDDING
Welcome to the forum, Good luck with your training, and dont let some sticky AVCOM refugee looking for an argument get you down. Your in the best hands when your with your instructor who is more than capable of ascertaining your skill level, level of comfort and ability to fly. Some okes progress faster than others and thats great. When it becomes a pissing contest it becomes unsafe. Take your time, learn everything you can in as many varying conditions as you can and you will turn out to be a great pilot... enjoy it.... thats what its about...

Hi there

No I was to busy setting everything up for the buy. Received my trike last night and washed it and then pushed it into its new hanger. Now I need a Dolly for it. Anyone in the Western Cape aere that can help me out here?

Only set for the following weekend to train again. I have to go with to the inlaws for the whole weekend in Robertson. Not that it is not fun to spend the time on a olive farm and eat steak each night - will just miss my new/first trike and the flying. Better pick up the pace as I want to fly my trike!!!!!!!!!!1 ## Planning to do my Solo on it. Wil use the schools trike for the first hour I thought.

Should I leave the fuel in my tank as it is gonna stand for a month or two, or should I drain it?
