Hi there FF

If I knew that, I would have made some other plans.....

ZU-CXO is being stripped down to sort out things like engine mounting rubbers & bolts, repairing the blown radio (Zulu1), flushing the system, some new seals, carb refurb, fit new VSI, repair cracked cowlings, redo prop, fit Facet fuel pump and a few other odds and ends.... would love to be installing DieselFan's engine though!

Hopefully she'll be ready for the Kimberley Air Show...

Will be there for the Kuruman Bash....

HOUSE RULES of CLUBS

Postby Frootbat » Thu Jun 19, 2008 10:57 am

More on rules & regulations..................

The LAW vs. braais at an airfield.

- Don't forget to get CAA's authority, for this type of event. In terms of section 24.2.1 (bis) [as amended] of the regulation:

''no person/s may operate a braai or procure, or deemed to procure any alcoholic beverage at an airfield under VFR conditions (by day) without the express written authority of the field appointed safety officer. Such authority requisition is to be submitted and approved by the Civil aviation Authority at least 21 (twenty one) clear business days prior to the event. The application shall not be considered unless a copy of the authority requisition is sent to the Minister of Transport, including full details of the proposed merriment to be experienced. A list of participants, broken down into the population groups and genders, together with a full description of the manner in which this event will contribute to the upliftment and job creation of any local community within a 5nm radius of the airfield is also required. An original certificate attested by a registered mechanical engineer as to the condition and workings of the braai apparatus and braai implements is required - such certificate to be dated not more than 11 months and 1 week from the date preceding the event''
