Demon, if that trench is still there, then the South side is the longest available runway. You'll probably get the trike down in time on the North if you judge it nicely but my Koala will definitely not make it.
Airspeed, altitude, or brains....you always need at least two

I drove past Ulktra City yesterday. the trench has been closed but there is still a bight of a ridge across the runway. the trench was fairly far down the runway so there will be plenty of time to stop if you put the trikes down at the beginning of the runway. Remember for those of you who have not landed there before your final approach is from the Durban side of Ultra City. You must also be aware of big trucks passing as they are inclind to creat alot of terbilance from the high way side which can through you off your line.

Enjoy your flights there to Dundee, will see you guys there on Saturday unfortunatally will have to drive through as ZU-BGA is at Solo Wings been repaired.

Make sure you can land on the centre line and on the numbers before attempting to refuel here.

Hi Callie,
Nice pictures!! Been down in Margate over the long weekend, checking out
the Sardine run, great conditions for flying and checking out these schools of fish,
but I missed out AGAIN. (**) My Gyro will be back mid July,( can't wait ) and then
I will be joining you guys, see there's always a reason why you can't sell
your TOYS, you'll miss out on trips like this.
How's the surface conditions at the Ultra City for take off? Any pot holes
covered with grass, has anybody done a runway inspection some or other time?
