I would like that & I'm sure Forker would too.

I would prefer to have some kind of a party when she comes up to the big smoke, but I would like it to be a Microlighters party because there has been much more enthusiasm amongs the Microlight fraternity than the GA fraternity about this project.

I am waiting for the balance of the funds to be paid to me for the sale of my beloved blik, then I can pay the balance owed on the prop, pay for the collector ring & set aside funds for the instruments. After that she is ready to fly. We are not going to buy a budget radio or transponder, have you guys got ideas about brands & pricing, Boet has his firm ideas & I want to test the water too.

We were toying with an avidyne integra but it would spoil the classic lines of the explorer. We are going steam guages, very spartan, classical layout with Radio, Transponder & gps hidden behind a false panel which looks like a cubby hole.

I cannot wait. vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

RV is here.

I am waiting for the leaning factor to pay off, no boodle yet, but by the end of the week, yebo.

I will be sending you the prop & the batteries by Friday. I will confirm the order for the collector ring by then too.

I need to talk to George further about instruments, I just want to check whether $1500 is commensurate with what we require. Speedometer Services in Primrose, jhb are Smiths agents too. I will check this out tomorrow & revert.

They are $1500, I want to see if we can't source them locally. I do like the classic look mutchly although they are a couple of thousand ront more expensive.

JCVB, we are getting close to completion, Boetie is going to start that engine within a month or so vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

No Speak to Oom Boetie. He has a local VDO contact and with some elbow grease, some brasso and viola you have the same classic look without the classic bill. He knows what I mean... (**)
