Ok - here is a difficult one:
Excuse crappy photo - had it at 45 degrees so rotated and ended up with some white space.

Not that one no. I think you are referring to Sunlands at Addo.
One in the photo is at least 110NM away from PE.

Nkwazi
My GPS broke, but will try to recover the details first, and give you a google earth spot. Clue - about 50 km from a river and a beach.

Google is amazing, I think I could find the herds, if I had the time! details of all the crossings through the swamps are clearly visible. Lots of buff and ele etc.
Found two of the runways that we used, can even see the hunting camp!
One of these days, I put a group together, to fly there and show some guys the reality of truly wild africa!

Looks like Engen Blockhouse (North Bound)...What's my prize....?
Careful of the wires if landing from the North. Only one set visible - The other set coming from the Transformer is not.....!
It took out an Instructor from Panorama a while back....he thought he had cleared the wires that you see when landing form the South...

Re: Where is this - quiz for pilots
It's a very tight graded tract at the Engen Blockhouse - Northbound side on the R59 (towards the Vaal - +/- 10km North of Meyerton) and 1.5 km north of The Circus Airfield.JFK wrote:Can sombody send the co-ords for the coffy shop

Caution of the powerlines on approach from North (THERE ARE 2 SETS

Approx 300m long and slightly downhill.
Approaching form the South, you only have one chance and must land short as the power lines come into play if you get it wrong...

You should always take off North to South.
