Longer EGT and CHT probe wires

Postby Wargames » Thu May 22, 2008 9:00 am

Hi,

What is best way to lengthen the wires of the probes?? The normal black wire connectors, or to solder them together??

Secondly, what type of wire should be used??

I would use a soft multistrand, that can flex (4-core telephone extension cable), as opposed to a single copper hard wire i.e Cat 5 networking cable. A window block is good for connecting them
