I may be in need of a 'full service' AP in the Kitty Hawk / Rhino Park area.
Someone rated on metal and composites, as well as VW engines, to do a complete inspection, as well as some structural work. (I am not willing to trust my own handywork, so would need someone who can do everything - preferably without bankrupting me.)
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Ditto for RV4 else I gotta fly it down to Robin Coss at FACT 3 times ayear for 100hr inspections. Last AMO just been given boot. R4800 to bleed brakes and they still don't work.

Re: 'Full service' APs?
Got refund after threatened legal action, but still leaves me without AMO / AP... jhb boys are not keen to work on the NTCA types at NTCA rates. if you go full TCA rates and BS then they can be convinced but not happily. CAA are also not helping. They are more confused than I am. I was under impression that NCTA can be maintained on condition, but more and more it appears that putting a VW engine in your NTCA is better than Rattex, Conti or Lycoming..skybound® wrote:They bled your wallet insteadRV4ker wrote: R4800 to bleed brakes and they still don't work.![]()

Put it on, but you MUST remove the "brand name".

Tried that. My lycoming data plate is in the glove box. (as are all other TSO yellow tags, but still forced me to O/H the CSU, mags, vac pump, Injector system and almost forced me to replace prop which we specially cut down to match engine and airframe at 5 years/500hrs...)
