Thanks to everyone who confirmed they are flying in on Saturday morning. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 8:30am after which we need to get ready for the main airshow. Boerewors rolls & hamburgers will be available from 9am. R20 per plane, R30 per breakfast and you get a compilmentary hat. I'll have to close this invite at 3pm this afternoon, we have limited space available with this happing in parallel with the airshow and would like to fix numbers today. Guys wanting to fly in on short notice can land at Henley (Midvaal) Airfield, just 3km up the road. We'll try to arrange for transport from there to the airshow, give me a call to make arrangements. I'll post final details and confirmed numbers this afternoon at 3pm.

Thanks for the support guys , please call (Henley Base)when you're a couple of miles out and join at 6000ft overhead to the North West of the field. We're doing final work on the gravel runway tomorrow, heading is 28R;10L. The tar runway in use is 01R; 19L. We'll advise on which runway to use for landing and takeoff. Runway layout attached. We've allowed for 3 additional planes/pilots, please call me to make arrangements. After these 3 confirmations the fly in invite will be closed, you are however welcome to drive in and spend the day with us, aswome stuff happening early to late!

Hi guys...

I'm new to the group, but some might know me from another well known forum!!

I will be travelling with FO Gyro to the event, and I must say, I am looking forward to the event!!

I'll be travelling with as a photographer for the event, and hoping with my yellow reflector jacket, will be given a nice spot for photography.. (photos will be shared with all off course!! )

P.S. That will be one extra breakfast then...

Would love to join for breakfeast.

One question: Will one be able to take off through the show to head home - say round 11:00 - 11:30 ? I have other commitments, but will love to stay for part of the show. If it's a problem I'll play vulture - eat and leave.

P.S. What is the intended lenght of the graded runway - any obstructions ?

Main runway will only be available until 8:45am, you can make use of the dirt runway to leave, just need to coordinate as we don't want a jet going trough your rotor!
