Postby John Young » Thu May 01, 2008 11:00 am

Hi,

Joe who bought my trike ZU-CIB has also just gone solo.

Congrats Joe and enjoy :!: (^^) (^^) (^^)

The below photo shows just how cramped up and grotty his hanger is - poor ol' ZU-CIB will not recover.

Thank you for the wishes. Quite an experience doing the solo along the okavango river. Looking forward flying CIB along the west coast and dunes.

Cheers!

Lekker-lekker Joe - keep us informed. !!!!

Am waiting for photo's of the dunes and coast when you get your MPL license. Bliksem but Duin 7 was a bastard. I was the only guy in our company to run up and down Duin 7 (twice) without stopping or walking.

Also that stretch of beach south of Walvis where the pelicans congregate - ran that many times.

It possible that some of us may choose to fly in and around Nam and the Kalahari in the future.

For info, this week my hanger buddy Jan ZU-CDC (Aquilla 582) has flown Light Flight - Postmasburg - Prieska - Middleburg (Cape) - Umtata (today) - Light Flight (tomorrow) with his wife doing the ground support.

Grüsse,
Young Johnny Walker - last week, last lap !!!!
