What is this website for?

Postby andreb » Sun Apr 27, 2008 7:27 pm

Guys, just a question I have after seeing posts about many things other than aviation, and some people's response to these.
Is this a website for microlighting and related topics? or is this website for microlighters and fellow aviators to chat about whatever is topical? I see some topics locked and I assume this is due to them not being aviation related (I hope my assumption is wrong?).

I like this site and I use it. I also dislike censorship in any form. In my humble opionion I would like to see this site as a site for aviators to post topical issues about whatever they please.

** I hope his does not cause too much controversy. **

Thanks Barry. I love the fact that I can chat to almost anyone about anything and the fact that I have made some great friends. I know there is a balance between freedom of speech and hate speech, that has to be maintained.
This topic was not to bad mouth the site or anyone else. Just posing questions about what the site it to be used for. We must just be careful not to inhibit too much, even when it is tempting.

Thanks to you and all the others who put in the time to make this a great site, and thanks to the regulars for all their "wisdom" and humour.
