Pilot wing location

Postby Tracer » Thu Apr 24, 2008 6:58 pm

This may be a silly question  , but before I start adding patches to my flight suite, I wanna keep a spot open for my pilot wings, once I earned them (^^) . So question is, which side should the wings be added on a flight suite :?:

Microlighters don't wear wings, we just fly  8)

Seriously I have never seen any of my mates with wings. My wife bought me a set of metal wings as a gift and they are laying in a drawer somewhere.

But I think they go on the left of the chest. Traditionally the military guys would take their shirt off and the CO smack them into the chest, sharp pins and all. We could arrange this

Cool, thanks Morph. I went through my photo collections and noticed that there aren't many guys with these on their suites.

Wargames, we fly trikes, so we are tough guys, we don't need surgical spirits and cotton wool
