Re: Wintervogel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Morph but it needs some TLC now. Me and Ian Martin doing some takeoffs and landings. Showing him some three axes flying. Me, Ian and 25 liters of fuel makes max all up weight and just in front C of G. Still have an excellent climb rate. My Beaver comes from Gauteng. The previous owner Wim van der Loo build the aircraft and flew it once down the runway. Next morning engine and propeller was stollen. Stood for six years outside when i bought it. He had several offers which he regected. Accepted mine which was lower that some of his previous offers for which i am still gratefull. His name plate is still on the aircraft. George's aircraft is still for sale i believe. I have difficulty contacting his wife. It has 400 plus hours on it and is on the RSA regiser as exported.
Don't do as I do

Re: Wintervogel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have bought John's WUO and will be hangaring that elsewhere. So one microlight spot open at Wintervogel, unless oom Andries has already got someone. The dolley/trolley/waantjie thing is mine and for sale.
Googling Wintervogel I got
The first offical trip to the Swartland was in 1655 by Jan Wintervogel. Jan van Riebeek instructed Wintervogel to go and
explore the area for agricultural possibilities.
also
Jan Wintervogel is the Nederlandsche Zuid Afrikaansche Spoorweg Maatschappij's last remaining steam locomotive, and in operation around Waterval Boven.
Class dismissed.

Afternoon.
As my “phantom flyer†friend calls it...Fire engine red. I had Solo wings do a metallic finish on a deep red. The only thing to request if you do the same..Have them use the basic red spats to start. Mine were blue and the chips now stick out like dogs ba..s.
Been lazy with the posts.
Fly safely.
Graham.

Nutter.
When I ordered the trike from solo wings, they offered to do “ANY DESIGN I WANTED†so I got the kids to doodle a bit and came up with a Harlequin.
The chap at solo wings did a tremendous job and modified the drawing a bit to suit the bag. The rest is history----Harlequin was born.

Another picture to provoke commentary.
Lovely cross wind!!! Note the tracks.
Fly safely.
Graham.
