Wheni got my training at the Airforce it was quite funny to see how some people Marshall the planes in.

I still get a funny feeling when i gotto bring in a jet or a real big aerie  like a 747 or something similar. Could be lots of fun.

I am sure that these guys are doing this as a joke, they are all from the same squadron and i think it could just be a dare to see who does it the funkyest.

vhpy Yea I can also remember my days in the good old Airforce and the marshalling we were taught! I guess different strokes for different okes! The pilots those years (specifically the fighter pilots) did in any case what they wanted no matter how much you waved your armes! vhpy Sometimes I felt like a windmill out of control! Anyway, some of the marshalling I have seen is actually very good but funny though!

 At least they enjoy what they are doing - attracted a large crowd!

Would have loved to see a jetblast pick him up off his feet - have some tar burns amongst other things!

Never seen that but you quite right, it is funny BUT also "eina"! vhpy I recall years ago at Waterkloof when a person on a biscycle rode past an aircraft whilst the pilot put power to get the wheels rolling! (to taxi off to the runway from the taxi strip) And o boy did that poor guy on biscycle get a fright! He was literally blown off the damn thing! (**)

Had a Russian Turbine prop get pissed off at me for turning around for the 3rd or 4th time and he went full power to make a 180 - Really got the people around him rather unhappy. Ever seen a gazebo take off like a piece of paper into the blue yonder  vhpy
