New site, new look

Have a look at the proposed new layout for the site.

We welcome proposals for a new logo to go with the new look and feel.

Key design elements are the 3 "classes" currently represented on the forum (in no particular order) - Fixed wing microlights, Weightshift Microlights and Gyrocopters. Try incorporate the 3 and have an element of the sky in your design.

Best logo gets to fly our colours on the site here! Post your designs here and we will put up a vote - may the best artist win!

If someone can provide the original photoshop file or high res pic of the current logo it would be great.

Can design be real pic's morphed together?

Are we staying Microlighters or is it becoming Microflyers?

We are staying microlighters. The microflyers thing is just a temp site to facilitate the upgrade.

I honestly would prefer the logo to stay the same - we all have caps, badges and stuff with the existing logo! Really costly to change name/image! Almost like renaming a town... really a waste of time and effort!

BUT the logo is suffering from the upgrade so a revamp/renewal will help. I am a backend oke - not a graphics person so my attempts at transferring the logo are just futile

Maybe Thunderboy has the original design...

What format do you want it in?

Presently in .gif or .bmp but can convert to .jpeg
