New Tiffindell Runway

Hi all

We recently spent a few days at the Tiffindell resort, which is currently undergoing LOTS of upgrading of accommodation and facilities.
(the main ski slope and lift is now 1 km long)

This includes a 1km NEW RUNWAY that is almost complete
and its only a couple of kms away from the resort
(rather than the one at Barkly East 75km away on a sand road)

Altitude approx 2,700 m ASL

Can you see the runway in winter?
Why don't they paint the rocks at the side of the runway orange or some other colour(not the same than the snow)?
Looks like a nice place to land.

Have used Golf Course at BE. Will be nice addition, but don't know if I fancy a MAUW take off there...
