Airstrip at my farm

I whant to start a FLYinn at ouwr farm where people can sleepthe night and so on

What I whant to know is would any one be intrestid and what would you like on the farm .I have tents whith a flush toilet ,hot showers and ja no power only the stars and the moon at night

wel jy kannie n runway bou sonder n kous nie en 2 runways vir die wisselinde winde as jy die plek het sal ook lekker wees.
N lekker groot boma waar ons vuurmaak en braai onder die sterre is dalk n goeie idee.

Die plaas is so 80miles van hier af dit is so 40km van Malbehol af
Ons het n stripie van so 550m x50 Verdet is daar tente met storte en dan het ons n spel toilet
die plekke waarnatoe mens kan vlieg is Renosterkop dan is nog n paar damme on heen te vlieg so ja
Ek wil biki n FLYinn soontoe reel met n lekker ontbyd daar dan kan mens meer sien hoe dit daar lyk

Reel net vir petrol sodat ons kan refuel.
Dit sal lekker wees om nog 'n landingsplek te kry waar ons ook kan kuier.

Nice to see to someone building a strip and the offer of a hot breakfast is always tempting.

What we need are your GPS co-ordinates so we can see exactly where you are and work out if its a morning flight or a weekend trip.

If you try hard enough, you may be able to get a wind sock from your tyre supplier. Try for orange as the yellow one blends in with the veld, especially when they are faded and its winter.

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread, but I'm also planning to build two strips in the Groot Marico Area (one 800m the other 400m)and would like to pick up on the idea of the Tyre Companies sponsoring the windsocks. Anybody got a contact for me??

Coordinates of airstrip S24 48 98 E 28 57 93 @ altitude 3210 above sea level. We are busy preparing the area putting up tents, lapa and proper facilities . At present there is a strip of 500mX20m located north south. Wind sock will be up within next two weeks. There will be proper fasilities within the next 3 to 4 months.

We need to get a flight of Savannah's together and all fly there for a weekend. I would love to see a whole lot of Sav's lined up in the bush.

There is a game lodge on the Sprongbok Flats with a good strip not far from Zebedelia (20 miles SE), called Leshoka Thabang. The food is good, accomodation excellent and there are usually always some juvenile lions to play with in the restaurant and bar area (seriously).
Lots of game to see and lovely pub area.

Hi, Ek merk jou vordering met belangstelling..Is tans besig met my MPL en hoop om spoedig klaar te maak...Ek merk jou plek is redelik naby my Quad venue. (www.elandsquadcamp.co.za)
Het pas n runway gebou en is nou besig met n klein Hanger. Be-oog om baie spoedig die eerste Microlighters daar te ontvang..
Daar is n paar keen microlight ouens in die loskop area..Ons sal vir jou kom kuier (DV)
