Hi Gavin,

Your baby is looking real good.

Spray job very well done.

I realy like those push to open inspection Covers on the fuseage.

Will make the rigging of Cables a doddle and save your hands and arms being scratched or getting stuck in those tiny holes called for in the plans.

The best part is that those additions are probably lighter than what is originally called for. Alu is lighter than Plywood . Nice going.

I am sure she will draw lots of favourable comment at the show.

Kind regards,

Gunter

Great News Gavin,

Congratulations.
vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy

Now go out and relax .

You are what homebuilding is all about.

You have faced mountains and reduced them little bit by little bit with a bloody teaspoon. (The powers that be don't allow a larger implement)

You must have been at the stage where you would have GIVEN the project away, but reason and perseverance pulled you through.

The engine will run fine, just dont do extended ground runs, because she will overheat without flying speed.

Also put on some close fitting baffles to make sure she gets enough air when fying.

Do you have a CHT to fit?

Remember what Bud Evans said about overheating "A pint of Wynns "sorted out his initial overheating issues.

Can't wait for pics to show the proud farther at the controls.

Once again Congratulations and well done.

Kind regards,

Gunter.

PS Does this mean I have to pull finger and make a start on the spars for your new baby?

I am just waiting for the test pilot to give me the go ahead to take the aircraft to the Airfield for him to test everything and start the final assembly. I will be visiting him over the long weekend and we will be deciding on a date so getting there.

Well done Gavin, and to think you wanted to pack it in not to long ago.

Very few true EAA projects get done these days. (^^)
