Just got back

Was with my instructor in 2006 and my instructor lost intrest
At that stage I had 9 hrs dual training and about three days ago phoned him and said that we can fly again and that he has sorted his s*&^
So will be back in the air next weekend and visiting the forum more often as I have found new inspiration :P

Can any body tell me if these traing hours are still valid as my student license has expired.

JFK,

Funny thing is, if you have your license you need to fly a number of hours every year to keep your license valid. But with learner, you can take 10 years. with some years no flying, and they all still count.

Just make sure your medical is still valid, and ask instructor to renew your learner, and you are well away.

Don't think that they changed it with new regs on 1 jan.

Did my first solo on Saterday(what a rush) And got my windlass yesterday

Now we are almost ready to fly and the sky is no longer the limit

Did 5hrs Training and done with solo circuits and did 2 hrs in gf

Date has been set for 27 april for licence test

Had some awsome flying this weekend just gone past

Tracer keep at it it gets better

Plan 2hrs in the morninng at first light and 1 hr in the afternoon

It worked for me as I flew 6hrs this weekend :arrow:
